How can i display time in this format the simplest way possible on any system?:

This is converting the current datetime to est like this, using system;

I'm trying to display the local time on my system with the timezone. I've looked over the python documentation but it's pretty confusing. How to strip time zone info from a datetime value? I would like to convert this to another time zone for example pst.

Select convert(datetime,getdate() at time zone (select current_timezone_id()) at time zone 'eastern standard time') this query will work. It seems to work fine, when checked on the internet by the time displayed in sites providing. Please suggest a way to print a date in est. This being said, if you have.

I can't assume my current time zone.

I stumbled upon this piece of code to get current time in est with daylight saving. If inputdate is provided as a datetimeoffset value, then at time zone clause converts it into the target time zone using the time zone conversion rules. I need to convert the sysdate and time to a particular timezone like est. Public date converttoest(date date) { // some code here } if i pass in a date in ist, the method should return that date in est.
